    Release of turtles

Olive ridley turtles (Lepidochelys olivacea) have nested on the beaches of Bahía Solano for centuries, as the female turtle always nests on the beach where she was born.
The locals, who have become experts in the conservation of this species, collect the eggs on a night patrol and take them to a turtle farm to increase the turtles' chances of survival.
After two months of caring for the eggs, you will be invited to participate in the release of these turtles, which begin the journey of their life with a long 50-meter walk from your hand and your good energy to the sea. Wish them luck!

    Almuerzo

    Tarde libre

Enjoy the afternoon at the accommodation, stop by the butterfly garden and visit the incredible organic garden that the hotel has. Like its "sea to table" policy, the hotel has a composting system that directly nourishes the garden where the ingredients used in the restaurant come from!

Our hosts have preserved the jungle surrounding the hotel since they began the project. Its non-invasive policy has generated an ecosystem rich in biodiversity in the region; The only intervention that has been made is some bridges where you can continue the reserve path.
Pay close attention during the walk to spot glass frogs or the harlequin frog.
