  • Day 1

    Welcome to Colombia

    Arrive at Bogotá at any time. Take a transfer from the airport to the hostel. If you arrive early, consider taking a walk around some of the most interesting neighborhoods including La Candelaria, La Macarena, Parque de la 93, La Zona T, La Zona G, where you can have lunch, a coffee or a beer. The adventure begins at night so feel free to explore before your welcome meeting, but make sure you’re back in time to meet the group.

  • Day 2

    Paloquemao Market and City Tour Bogotá

    Explore the vibrant Paloquemao market, one of Colombia's most important, brimming with a diverse array of fruits and vegetables, from the familiar to the exotic. Savor a local lunch before ascending Monserrate Hill via cable car for breathtaking panoramic views of Bogotá and the Andes mountains. In the afternoon, embark on a walking tour through the heart of Bogotá, visiting iconic sites like Plaza de Bolivar and the charming La Candelaria district with its colorful houses, ornate wooden balconies, and picturesque courtyards.

    Rafting in Río Güejar

    Depart from Lejanías to another charming town called Mesetas. There, treat yourself to a traditional breakfast before heading to the pier. Brace yourself for an exhilarating 17-kilometer rafting adventure down the river, where you'll be mesmerized by stunning waterfalls and thrilling rapids. After the rafting experience, savor a delicious traditional lunch before returning to the accomodation. As the day draws to a close, enjoy a bonfire under the night sky.

    From Güejar to Guaviare

    Start your day with breakfast before embarking on an exciting journey to explore Güejar's Five Wonders. Begin with visits to Caño Lajón and Caño Jordán Waterfalls, followed by a refreshing swim in natural pools. Then, pack your bags for a unique and exceptional journey back in time. Guaviare, with its prime location, offers outstanding natural attractions for avid nature lovers. Upon arrival, enjoy the rest of the day with some free time.

    Natural Rock Swimming Pools

    Start your day with breakfast before venturing to Nuevo Tolima, an archaeological site adorned with ancient indigenous paintings. Lunch will be a heartwarming experience as you're welcomed into a local farmer's family, who'll share their remarkable journey, including their past involvement in coca cultivation and cocaine production for guerrilla groups, transitioning into legal and promising ventures within the tourism industry.   • Day 7

    Discovering our ancestors' messages

    Start your day with a ride alongside locals to Cerro Azul, where you'll explore a path adorned with 10,000-year-old cave paintings. This spot is located in a farm that used to be controlled by guerillas groups and nowadays it is focused on conservations projects. After lunch, head back to San José del Guaviare, taking in the scenic 30-kilometer route along the Guaviare River. Rest up and enjoy an Amazonian dinner upon arrival.

  • Day 8

    Damas del Nare Lagoone

    After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour 4x4 adventure ride tour along the Guaviare River. Meet local farmers who'll share knowledge about the area while preserving its natural beauty. Walk to Damas del Nare Lagoon, learning about local amazonflora and fauna along the way. Spot birds, monkeys, and pink dolphins in their natural habitat. You can even take a dip in the lagoon. Return to the community for lunch, rest, and then head back to San Jose.

  • Day 9

    Orion Gate and Colors River, then Medellín

    After breakfast, explore the Orion Gate, a natural stone sculpture, also the captivating "Fridge" Cave, named for its dramatic temperature drop upon entry. Wander through remarkable rock formations, admire the crystal-clear waters of Caño Sabana with its vibrant pink aquatic plants. You will take your flight from San José to Medellín. Transfer from the airport to the hostel, you will have time to rest and recharge energies. You can walk around Poblado, Provenza, and Manila, trendy neighborhoods in Medellín, full of shops, restaurants, and bars. These are great places to explore and experience the city’s nightlife.

    Explore Guatapé and the Ancient El Peñol Monolith

  • Day 12

    From Medellín to the Caribbean Coast

    You will be traveling from Medellín to Cartagena. In Cartagena you will have time to explore the city center. Transfer to the hostel and consider walking through the cobbled streets adorned with colorful colonial facades, savor delectable local cuisine, and bask in the sun on pristine beaches.

  • Day 13

    Mangrove Tour

    On your last day, you'll journey to La Boquilla, a picturesque fishing village, to engage in a meaningful eco-experience. You'll plant mangrove trees and take a guided canoe ride through the mangrove ecosystems, gaining insights into local fishing practices, you might even get the chance to see raccoons. The adventure ends with the transfer back to the accommodation after mangrove tour.
