    Welcome to Medellín

    Arrive at Medellin at any time and transfer from the airport to El Viajero Hostel. If you arrive early, consider walking around some of the most interesting neighborhoods including El Poblado and Provenza, both walking distance from the hostel, where you can get lunch, coffee or a beer. The adventure begins at night so feel free to explore the city before your welcome meeting, make sure you are back in time to meet the group.

    Visit the Highlights of the Digital Nomad City

    From the City of Eternal Spring to the Amazon Jungle

    You'll journey from Medellín to Leticia with a layover in Bogotá. Arriving in Leticia, your adventure unfolds as you embark on a boat ride along the world's mightiest river, venturing to the iconic Marasha Reserve in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle. Here, amidst lush rainforests and abundant wildlife, you'll immerse yourself in the heart of this vast wilderness. Guided expeditions will introduce you to the jungle's wonders, and after dinner, a night canoe ride lets you experience the Amazon's nocturnal rhythms, connecting with its vibrant fauna and flora.

    Maikuchiga Foundation

    On this day you will go to the amazing indigenous community of Mocagua where you will interact with the Tikuna indigenous tribe, you will be learning about their culture. Afterwards you will visit the Maikuchiga foundation. This foundation aims to protect endangered wildlife such as monkeys and other mammals.

  • Day 6

    Discovering the Amazon River

    You will start the adventure visiting the Cacao Island where you will discover an incredible trail rich in fauna and flora. This trail is great for wildlife watching. You will meet the Puerto Nariño community where you will have a walking tour of the municipality and visit the lakes of Tarapoto with the possibility of sighting pink and gray river dolphins.

  • Day 7

    Tanimboca Reserve

    You will be walking through the indigenous community, and will be visiting the Ancestral Knowledge Museum. After this you will be heading to Leticia navigating through the Amazon River. When arriving to Leiticia you will the Tanimboca Reserve where you will join a nocturnal hike.

  • Day 8

    From the Amazon to the Andean Region

    You will head from the Reserve to the center of Leticia and have time to shop some of the local handcrafts made by the local community. Then you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back to Bogotá where you will have time to relax the rest of the day.

    Paloquemao Market and City Tour Bogotá

    From Bogotá to Sierra de La Macarena

    In the morning, catch a flight from Bogotá to La Macarena, the gateway to Caño Cristales, often dubbed the "River of Five Colors." Upon arrival, embark on a brief trek along its pristine waters and explore the nearby intricate rock formations. Your visit to Caño Cristales awaits the next day. In the afternoon, transfer to the Ecolodge for relaxation and dinner.

  • Day 13

    Caño Cristales National Park

    After breakfast, head to the port and take a boat to Puerto Los Mangos. From there, a 4x4 vehicle will transport you to the trailhead for Caño Cristales. Embark on a scenic walk, exploring various attractions, and even enjoying a swim while observing the Macarenia Clavigera, the plant responsible for the river's vibrant pink hues. A typical local lunch will be served on a plantain leaf during the tour.
